used to mean excitement for The Simpsons. Now, I make sure I avoid that show and my excitement is for 60 Minutes instead.

Music IS my religion, and Beethoven my most exalted prophet.

Some of my other favorites include Dmitri Shostakovich, Hector Berlioz, Franz Schubert, Charles Ives, Antonio Vivaldi, György Ligeti, Sofia Gubaidulina, Nino Rota, Danny Elfman, The Beatles, and Gogol Bordello.

Each era, each composer, each sound all have their own unique flavor. That's why I continue to listen to, look at, taste, etc. as many things as I can to better understand what I like. This blog is for me to share those images and sounds that I like so much with other people.

I hope you discover something you like too in the process.
